Mayor of the city of Trujillo, Caceres. He has a degree in Law from the University of Extremadura. He began his political career in New Generations of the Popular Party, where he joined at eighteen. In 2001 he was elected provincial president, until 2006, between these years he was also a member of the National Executive Committee of New Generations.
